What happens when I order a IP Phone or MXIE from Boab IT?

The beauty of using Boab IT for your communication solutions is how simple and easy we make it. First, we will deploy your Cloud Phone Solution in our Data Centre. Next, we will allocate your new phone numbers, or import the numbers your business currently uses. Finally, we ship out your IP Phones ready to connect to your network. If you already have the Cloud Phone System already setup, we will just ship you tha handsets immediately.

As all of the hard work has already been done, connecting your IP Phone is a very simple process, just unpack, plug in and off you go! If you ever have any issues, our 24×7 Service Desk is always available to answer any questions or you can log onto our portal which has lots of videos and helpful how to guides to get you started.

What is an IP Phone?

Quite simply, they are a physical phone on your desk that connects to your current office network and connects to the CLoud Phone Solution letting you make phone calls over your internet connection. Boab IT partnered with Zultys to provide IP Phones that are designed to be stylish, easy to install and operate and enhance productivity. With sleek and elegant designs, these enterprise IP Phones are designed to take advantage of the feature-rich Cloud Phone Solution managed by Boab IT.

What is a Cloud Phone Solution?

The Boab IT Cloud Phone Solution is a dedicated, fully hosted and managed unified communication solution and IP phone system developed by Zultys and located in the Boab IT data centre in Australia. Innovative, reliable and scalable, the solution integrates voice, video, data and mobility, to optimize collaboration and communications for your business.

Will Boab IT migrate my phone numbers?

Absolutely. We understand that a business may have invested into their current phone numbers for marketing and business use. We will manage this whole process for you. Please be aware that the number porting process can take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks! It can be a little frustrating but we are always there to ensure the whole process has the least amount of disruption to your business.

What features are included with each Cloud Phone Solution?

The standard features included with each Cloud Phone Solution includes:

  1. Inbound Call Handling – Direct extention (reception) or ring groups (ring all handsets)
  2. Voicemail to Email for all IP Phones and MXIE softphones
  3. Scalable – Allows you to increase as you grow by simply adding new handsets

Can I use my own IP Phones?

At the moment, we don’t support IP Phones that are not manufactured by Zultys.

Can I make multiple calls at one time?

Each IP Phone can have up to 3 callers participate in a handset conference call.

Can I manage conference calls with more than 3 callers?

This feature is still being developed to ensure the reliability and security of the solution.

What about my meeting and conference rooms that don't have a high volume of calls?

At the moment, these IP Phones cost the same as an ordinary user. We will have a Meeting Room Phone in the future.

How does the Cloud Phone Solution differ from other suppliers?

Boab IT provide a fixed cost, completely managed and supported solution end to end. We also back our solution with hardware replacement guarantee’s for your IP Phones.

Can I import my Contacts from Microsoft Outlook?

Yes, we have even prepared some quick how to videos and articles providing the few steps needed to sync up all of your devices.
